Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

Your luxury safari begins with a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival, your private guide will meet you at the airport and welcome you into your premium 4x4 safari vehicle.

From Arusha, drive directly to Tarangire National Park, where your first game drive unfolds among ancient baobabs, sweeping savannahs, and some of northern Tanzania’s largest elephant herds. Explore the park in search of lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife along the Tarangire River. Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness before continuing your game drive. In the late afternoon, depart Tarangire and ascend the Great Rift Valley escarpment toward Lake Manyara.

Arrive at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge for a sumptuous dinner and an elegant overnight stay overlooking the surrounding landscape.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha to Zanzibar

Wake early for a spectacular descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a breathtaking volcanic caldera and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife sanctuaries. Search for the endangered black rhino grazing across the open plains, watch powerful prides of lions moving through the grasslands, and admire elephants, hippos, buffalo, zebras, and vibrant flocks of flamingos.

The crater’s enclosed ecosystem creates an exceptional concentration of wildlife surrounded by towering walls. Enjoy an elegant picnic lunch on the crater floor before beginning your ascent from this remarkable natural amphitheatre.

Once above the crater, continue your drive toward Arusha, passing through the scenic landscapes of the Ngorongoro highlands and northern Tanzania. Upon reaching Arusha, your driver will transfer you to the airport in time for your evening flight back to Zanzibar, concluding your safari with a seamless journey from the wilderness to the coast.
