Day 1

Welcome to the Chobe

Welcome to the Chobe

Upon arrival at Kasane Airport, you'll be met by your guide and transferred to Chobe House, our boutique riverside lodge overlooking the magnificent Chobe River. Depending on your group size and availability, you'll stay in one of our spacious riverside chalets or our exclusive four-bedroom private villa.

After settling into your accommodation and enjoying a freshly prepared lunch, your safari begins with an afternoon boat cruise into Chobe National Park. Quietly cruising the river, you'll search for Chobe's famous elephant herds, hippos, crocodiles, buffalo and exceptional birdlife while enjoying refreshments against the backdrop of an African sunset. Return to Chobe House for dinner. Chalet guests dine aboard our floating restaurant, while villa guests enjoy a private dinner on their riverside terrace.

Day 2

Explore the Chobe River

Explore the Chobe River

Wake beside the Chobe River and enjoy a light breakfast before setting off on a morning boat safari. The calm waters and beautiful morning light provide outstanding wildlife viewing as elephants gather along the riverbanks and birdlife comes alive. Tea, coffee and traditional rusks are served on board while your skipper follows recent wildlife sightings.

Return to Chobe House for brunch before heading into Chobe National Park on an afternoon game drive or boat cruise. Home to one of Africa's largest elephant populations, Chobe also offers excellent opportunities to encounter lions, leopards, buffalo, giraffe and much more. Return to Chobe House for your final evening at the lodge.

Day 3

Visit Victoria Falls

Visit Victoria Falls

After breakfast, depart for Victoria Falls, crossing the Botswana–Zimbabwe border to visit one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Spend the day exploring the spectacular rainforest walkways and panoramic viewpoints overlooking Mosi-oa-Tunya - "The Smoke That Thunders".

Browse local craft markets, enjoy lunch at one of Victoria Falls' many cafés or restaurants, or choose from a variety of optional activities, including a scenic helicopter flight, a Zambezi River cruise or a visit to the historic Victoria Falls Hotel (optional activities at additional cost). Return to Chobe House in the late afternoon, where another memorable evening of exceptional food and Botswana hospitality awaits.

After a leisurely breakfast and/or morning boat cruise, it's time to exchange the comforts of the lodge for the excitement of a genuine African safari expedition. Leaving the Chobe River behind, your guide ventures deep into Chobe National Park, travelling far beyond the reach of most day visitors as the landscape becomes increasingly wild and remote.

Every bend in the track brings the possibility of another unforgettable wildlife encounter as your guide adapts the route according to recent sightings. Arrive at your fully serviced private campsite in the late afternoon, where your tents are ready, the campfire is burning and our safari chefs are preparing dinner. Spend your first night beneath Botswana's spectacular star-filled sky, surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

Explore Chobe National Park

Wake to the sounds of the wilderness and enjoy tea, coffee and a light breakfast before setting off on a full day's safari through Chobe National Park. Your guide will tailor the day's route according to recent wildlife sightings, exploring the famous Chobe Riverfront between Sedudu Island and Ihaha, and venturing into quieter wilderness areas around Ngoma where fewer vehicles travel. A freshly prepared bush breakfast and picnic lunch are enjoyed in the heart of the park, allowing you to spend the entire day immersed in one of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations. Return to camp as the sun begins to set for your final evening around the campfire beneath Botswana's spectacular night sky.

Wake early for one final game drive as Chobe National Park comes to life. The cool morning hours offer excellent opportunities to encounter predators returning from the night's hunt, while elephants, buffalo and countless other animals begin another day in the African wilderness. Return to camp for a freshly prepared breakfast before packing up and making your way back towards Kasane. The drive out of the park remains part of the safari, with plenty of opportunities to stop for memorable wildlife sightings and photographs before arriving back in Kasane around midday for your onward flight or accommodation.
