Day 1

Your adventure begins as you leave Arusha behind and drive into Tarangire National Park, a landscape defined by ancient baobab trees, golden savannahs, and the winding Tarangire River. Known for its remarkable elephant herds, the park also offers excellent opportunities to encounter lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a remarkable variety of birdlife.
Once inside the park, your afternoon game drive takes you along its dusty tracks and through the riverine landscapes where wildlife gathers, particularly during the dry season. A freshly prepared picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a designated spot within the park, allowing you to pause and take in the surroundings before continuing your exploration.
As the afternoon draws to a close, you will leave Tarangire and continue towards Karatu. Here, you will settle into the welcoming Farm of Dreams Lodge for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay, ready for another day of adventure ahead.

Day 2
Karatu to Serengeti National Park
Karatu to Serengeti National Park
Today you journey deeper into Tanzania’s wilderness as you leave Karatu and travel towards the Serengeti National Park, crossing the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands along the way. As the landscape opens into the vast plains of the Serengeti, you will begin to understand what makes this ecosystem so extraordinary. These endless grasslands provide an ideal setting for encounters with lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeest and zebra.
A picnic lunch will be enjoyed along the way, allowing you to make the most of your time in the bush rather than breaking the journey for a separate meal. Once inside the Serengeti, your game drive begins, with plenty of opportunities to explore the plains and search for wildlife as you make your way towards camp.
By late afternoon, you will arrive at Mbuni Serengeti Camp, where a warm dinner and an authentic night in the wilderness await. Settle into your classic safari tent and enjoy the sounds of the Serengeti after dark.

Day 3
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up to the sounds of the African bush and set out for one final morning game drive across the golden plains of the Serengeti. The cooler early hours often bring excellent opportunities to observe wildlife as predators remain active and herds begin moving across the open grasslands. With the soft morning light adding to the scenery, it is a wonderful time to enjoy the Serengeti before beginning your journey onward.
After the game drive, you will leave the Serengeti and travel back towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A freshly packed picnic lunch will be enjoyed along the way, allowing you to make the most of the journey without interrupting your time in the wilderness.
As the afternoon progresses, you will cross the Ngorongoro Highlands and continue down towards Karatu. By evening, you will arrive at Farm of Dreams Lodge, where a delicious dinner, peaceful surroundings, and the lodge’s beautiful tropical gardens provide a relaxing end to your day.

Day 4
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
On your final day, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive through one of Tanzania’s most diverse and scenic wildlife areas. The park is known for its lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, and the shimmering lake that attracts an impressive variety of birdlife, including seasonal gatherings of flamingos. Keep watch for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, baboons, and, with some luck, the park’s famous tree-climbing lions.
A picnic lunch will be enjoyed within the park, giving you time to pause and take in the peaceful surroundings before continuing your final exploration. After the game drive, you will leave the park and continue to your chosen drop-off point in Arusha, Kilimanjaro International Airport, or Arusha Airport.
