Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

You depart Nairobi and travel north through Kenya's scenic central highlands, passing coffee and tea plantations with breathtaking views of Mount Kenya on a clear day. You will cross the equator en route before arriving at the spectacular Samburu National Reserve in time for lunch. Later, you embark on an exciting afternoon game drive in this unique wilderness, famous for the rare "Samburu Special Five"—Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. The reserve is also home to elephants, lions, leopards, and diverse birdlife, offering an unforgettable introduction to Kenya's rich wildlife and stunning landscapes. After an early breakfast, you will spend the entire day exploring the spectacular Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Samburu To SweetWaters

After breakfast, you will check out and depart for Sweetwaters at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, enjoying a scenic drive through Kenya's beautiful central highlands with views of Mount Kenya, weather permitting. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you will embark on an exciting game drive in the conservancy, home to the Big Five, the world's last two northern white rhinos, and the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. You will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
