Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your professional safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's most wildlife-rich parks.

Spend the day exploring the park, famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife throughout the year. During your game drive, look out for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, ostriches, and over 500 bird species.

After a picnic lunch, continue your afternoon game drive before heading to Sangaiwe Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

As you enter the Serengeti, begin your game drive across the endless plains while searching for elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and numerous antelope species.

Arrive at Tukaone Serengeti Camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

The trail leads to the fascinating Elephant Caves, formed over many years as elephants dug into the mineral-rich soil, and continues to the beautiful Endoro Waterfalls, surrounded by lush vegetation and abundant birdlife. Along the walk, you may encounter monkeys, colorful birds, butterflies, and enjoy panoramic views of the Ngorongoro Highlands.

After the walk, enjoy lunch before driving back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
