Day 1

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping at a viewpoint to admire one of Africa's most remarkable landscapes before continuing to the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, head out on your first game drive across the vast savannah in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and many other wildlife species.

Return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara and travel to the beautiful freshwater Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat safari across the lake, where you'll encounter pods of hippos and an abundance of birdlife, including African fish eagles, kingfishers, herons, and cormorants. You may also take an optional guided walking safari on Crescent Island, where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and gazelles in a predator-free sanctuary.
