Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a friendly Seresafari Africa representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your comfortable accommodation in Arusha.
Depending on your arrival time, you can relax after your journey, enjoy the peaceful surroundings of your lodge, or explore the vibrant city of Arusha. Your safari guide will provide a short briefing about your upcoming adventure, ensuring you are fully prepared for the exciting days ahead.
Known as the safari capital of northern Tanzania, Arusha is the gateway to the country's most famous national parks. Nestled at the foot of Mount Meru, the city offers a unique blend of local culture, bustling markets, and beautiful scenery, making it the perfect place to begin your unforgettable safari with Seresafari Africa.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your Seresafari Africa guide will pick you up and drive to Tarangire National Park, about 2.5 hours from Arusha. Named after the Tarangire River, the park is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and abundant wildlife.
During your game drive, you'll have the chance to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, impalas, and, with luck, predators such as lions and leopards. Tarangire is also a birdwatcher's paradise, with over 550 recorded bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.
Later, travel to the scenic town of Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at your comfortable mid-range lodge.

Day 3
Karatu to Serengeti National Park
Karatu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will drive up into the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There will be a chance to stop and see the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. You will then transit through Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti, entering the south of the park.
The Serengeti National Park is truly spectacular! It is famous for its vast open grasslands, allowing excellent wildlife sightings. While it boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for its incredible annual migration. Depending on the time of year you come, you will witness one of the seven wonders of the natural world when vast numbers of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope move through the area in search of water and fresh grass.
You will have a picnic lunch and overnight at a luxury tented camp in Central Serengeti.

Day 4

This entire day is set aside for game drives in the Serengeti. The Serengeti boasts an abundance of wildlife, such as impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo. In addition to the iconic landscapes, you have a good chance of encountering predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. It is a truly life-changing experience!
Today, it is possible to do early morning and late afternoon game drives, returning to the camp for lunch. Otherwise, a full day's game drive with a picnic lunch in the park.

Day 5
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will wind your way toward Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying more wonderful sights on the way! After an entire afternoon inside the crater, you will drive to your accommodation in Karatu.
Steep volcanic walls conceal Ngorongoro Crater, a pristine wilderness with sweeping savannah, acacia woodland pockets, glistening lakes, and swamps. The crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. The drive down into the crater is an adventure in itself, and when you reach the crater floor, you will quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. The crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands.

Day 6
Lake Manyara National Park

This morning, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park—your final destination on this epic safari! Lake Manyara National Park is a small but diverse park 120km west of Arusha. Everything you will see here is on a different scale. It is both compact (one of the narrowest parks in Africa) and epic (the Great Rift Escarpment towers over Lake Manyara’s western boundary). The park’s namesake is a shallow salt lake. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons, and is home to thousands of wading birds (including flamingos and over 500 other bird species). You may see baboons and elephants in the park’s thick evergreen forest and look out for the tree-climbing lions that have become famous throughout Africa.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park. After your game drive, we will drop you off at a place you choose, e.g., Arusha, Kilimanjaro International Airport, or Arusha Airport. We hope you have enjoyed your adventure with Seresafari Africa!
