Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in Kampala. Meet your experienced driver-guide and begin the scenic drive to southwestern Uganda.

Travel through rolling hills, lush farmlands, tea plantations, and traditional villages while enjoying spectacular views of Uganda's countryside. Stop at the Uganda Equator for photographs and refreshments before continuing through the beautiful Kigezi Highlands, often referred to as the "Switzerland of Africa."

After lunch en route, continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the evening for check-in and relaxation before the next day's gorilla trekking adventure.

Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi

Following an early breakfast, transfer to the Uganda Wildlife Authority headquarters for a briefing by park rangers on gorilla trekking rules and safety guidelines.

Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, begin your trek through the dense rainforest in search of one of Bwindi's habituated gorilla families. The trek may last between 2 and 6 hours depending on the gorillas' location, but every moment is worthwhile once you encounter these incredible primates.

Spend one magical hour observing the gorillas as they feed, play, groom one another, and interact within their family group. This extraordinary wildlife encounter is often described as one of the greatest experiences in Africa.

After the trek, receive your Gorilla Trekking Certificate before returning to relax and celebrate your achievement.
