This morning, a private transfer returns you to OR Tambo International for your short 55-minute flight to Nelspruit, (at an additional cost) gateway to the Mpumalanga highlands. On arrival, your private guide welcomes you for a full day along the spectacular Panorama Route — marvel at the Blyde River Canyon, one of the largest green canyons on earth, the striking Three Rondavels, the swirling potholes of Bourke's Luck and the endless views from God's Window. After breakfast, a private road transfer takes you from Nut Grove Manor into the world-renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve, home to some of the finest Big Five viewing in Africa. Your base for the next three nights is Arathusa Safari Lodge, overlooking a busy waterhole where elephant, buffalo and antelope come down to drink. You stay on a fully inclusive basis, with all meals and twice-daily game drives in open-sided 4x4 vehicles, led by experienced rangers and trackers. Set off at dawn on a morning game drive in an open-sided 4x4, when predators are most active and the light falls golden across the reserve. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast, then spend the middle of the day at leisure, cool off in the pool, watch elephant and buffalo drift down to the waterhole, or simply soak up the stillness of the bush. In the late afternoon, head out again with your ranger and tracker, pausing for sundowners before a spotlight search reveals the Sabi Sand's famous leopards after dark.

As darkness falls, the spotlight sweeps for leopard, and you return to Arathusa for a farewell dinner beneath the African sky."
