Your adventure begins with a scheduled afternoon flight from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival at the airstrip, your professional safari guide will welcome you and transfer you directly into the park for an exciting sunset game drive. As the temperatures cool, wildlife becomes more active, offering excellent opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, and predators preparing for the night. Enjoy the stunning African sunset before heading to your cottage for dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Drive & Sunset Boat Safari

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive through the diverse landscapes of Nyerere National Park. Explore open plains, woodlands, lakes, and riverbanks while searching for lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, African wild dogs, and an incredible variety of birdlife. A picnic lunch will be served in the park, allowing you to maximize your wildlife viewing experience until late afternoon.

After the game drive around 04PM, transfer to the Rufiji River outside the park for a scenic sunset boat safari. Cruise along the river while watching hippos, crocodiles, colorful bird species as the sun sets over the African wilderness. Afterwards, continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
