Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, set off for Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem known for its towering ancient baobab trees and some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. Enjoy an exciting game drive as you spot giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and perhaps a lion resting beneath the shade.

As the sun begins to set, arrive at Eileens Trees Lodge, tucked amid nature's tranquility, for a comfortable overnight stay.

Spend the day on game drives across golden grasslands teeming with lion, leopard, cheetah, and vast herds of plains game. This is the Serengeti at its finest raw, wild, and endlessly captivating. Watch as massive herds of wildebeest and zebra gather at the riverbanks, building courage before plunging into crocodile-infested waters in a heart-stopping crossing (best seen July–September). After breakfast, descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater floor, often called Africa's Garden of Eden. This natural wonder a UNESCO World Heritage Site offers one of the best chances on the continent to spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) all within one enclosed ecosystem. Keep your camera ready as you scan the crater floor for grazing herds, prowling predators, and the rare black rhino against a backdrop of dramatic crater walls.

After this unforgettable final game drive, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight carrying home a heart full of memories and stories of the Great Migration and the Big Five to last a lifetime.
