Drive from Sankaber to Gich

After breakfast, continue through the dramatic landscapes of the Simien Mountains toward Gich Camp. The route passes deep valleys, towering cliffs, and rolling Afro-alpine grasslands that support a wide variety of wildlife. Large troops of Gelada baboons are commonly seen grazing peacefully along the roadside, while birds of prey soar overhead. Arrive at Gich in the afternoon and enjoy the spectacular sunset over the mountain escarpments.

Drive from Gich to Chennek

This morning, travel to Chennek, one of the park's premier wildlife viewing areas.
