Day 1

Arusha National Park & Walking Safari

After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Arusha National Park, one of Tanzania's most scenic national parks. Nestled at the foot of Mount Meru, the park is renowned for its lush montane forests, open grasslands, sparkling Momella Lakes, and abundant wildlife.

Begin your adventure with a guided walking safari. This unique experience allows you to explore the African wilderness on foot, offering close encounters with giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes, and a variety of bird species while learning about the park's flora, fauna, and animal tracking techniques.

Later on proceed with a game drive through the park. Keep an eye out for black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, hippos, flamingos around the Momella Lakes, and, enjoy spectacular views of Mount Meru

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic location before continuing your afternoon wildlife viewing.

Later in the day, return to Arusha for a relaxing at your hotel.

Day 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

After an early breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its iconic baobab trees, vast savannahs, and one of the largest elephant populations in East Africa. The Tarangire River, the park's lifeline, attracts an abundance of wildlife throughout the year, making it an excellent destination for game viewing.

Enjoy a full-day game drive in search of elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, ostriches, and over 550 species of birds. Pause for a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint before continuing your afternoon safari.

Later, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, journey through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying breathtaking views of the highlands before entering the world-famous Serengeti National Park. As you travel across the endless plains, your game drive begins immediately.

The Serengeti is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras. Depending on the season, you may also witness part of the spectacular Great Migration.

Arrive at Moyo Central Serengeti Camp in the late afternoon, where you can relax and enjoy the authentic atmosphere of the African wilderness.

After a picnic lunch, enjoy a final game drive as you exit the Serengeti, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area with breathtaking views of the crater highlands. Continue to the charming town of Karatu, where you can relax after an unforgettable day in the wilderness.

After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's premier wildlife destinations. Spend the morning exploring the crater floor, home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, including the Big Five. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and, with a bit of luck, the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch beside the famous Hippo Pool before ascending the crater and beginning your scenic drive back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or preferred drop-off location, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania Walking Safari & Big Five Adventure.
