After breakfast, you will depart Amboseli and travel to the Namanga Border, where you will complete immigration formalities before entering Tanzania. You'll continue to Arusha, enjoying views of the surrounding countryside along the way. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge and spend the remainder of the day relaxing before the safari continues.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees, massive elephant herds, and the Tarangire River, which attracts abundant wildlife throughout the year. You'll enjoy a full-day game drive while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and numerous bird species. After an early breakfast, you will enjoy a final morning game drive as you leave the Serengeti and head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You'll descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Home to one of Africa's highest concentrations of wildlife, the crater offers excellent chances to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, and the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch, you will ascend the crater and continue to Karatu.
