After breakfast, depart Amboseli and travel to the Namanga Border, where you will complete immigration formalities before entering Tanzania. Continue to Arusha, enjoying views of the surrounding countryside along the way. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and spend the remainder of the day relaxing before the safari continues.

Descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Home to one of Africa's highest concentrations of wildlife, the crater offers excellent chances to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, and the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch, ascend the crater and continue to Karatu.
