The cool morning temperatures make animals particularly active, increasing your chances of spotting predators before they retreat from the day's heat. Your guide will explore the expansive Kasenyi Plains, famous for its large herds of Uganda kob that attract lions, leopards and spotted hyenas.
Depending on wildlife movements and your accommodation location, the safari may also include a visit to the Ishasha Sector, internationally famous for its remarkable tree-climbing lions—one of only a few populations in Africa known for this behaviour.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and some relaxation before heading to the Kazinga Channel. The afternoon launch cruise is considered one of Africa's finest wildlife boat safaris.
