Rise early for a morning game drive in Samburu National Reserve, one of Kenya's most distinctive wildlife destinations. The reserve is home to the famous Samburu Special Five—Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and gerenuk—as well as elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and a rich variety of birdlife.
Return to Umoja Women Village for lunch before spending the afternoon immersed in Samburu culture. Join the women in a traditional bead-making workshop, learn about indigenous medicinal plants, visit a traditional Samburu homestead, and hear fascinating stories from community elders about their customs and way of life.

After breakfast, depart Samburu and travel south towards Nanyuki, nestled at the foot of Mount Kenya.

Nanyuki to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, journey through the spectacular Great Rift Valley towards Lake Nakuru National Park.
Arrive in time for lunch before setting out on an afternoon game drive. The park is renowned for its populations of endangered black and white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, and more than 400 bird species. Depending on the season, you may also witness the famous flamingos gathering along the lakeshore.
Return to your lodge in the evening.
