Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Arusha after breakfast. Drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife.

Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through the park’s beautiful landscapes of open savannah, seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River, a vital water source that attracts a wide variety of animals. Keep an eye out for elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffalo, antelopes, and, with luck, predators such as lions and leopards.

Stop for a picnic lunch at a designated site before continuing with an afternoon game drive, giving you more opportunities to experience the park’s incredible wildlife and scenery.

Later in the day, drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will stop at the crater viewpoint to admire breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater before continuing towards the endless plains of the Serengeti.

Upon entering the park, enjoy an en-route game drive as you travel through the vast savannah, keeping an eye out for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife. After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, when the wilderness is at its most active. This is a great opportunity to witness animals beginning their day, and with some luck, you may spot predators on the move.

After lunch, depart Serengeti and continue towards the Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the way, enjoy the changing landscapes and the chance to pass through traditional Maasai villages, where you can choose to visit and learn more about the Maasai way of life (optional experience at an additional cost).

Later, arrive at Simba Campsite, located near the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the beautiful highland scenery.

Enjoy a memorable game drive across the crater floor, home to large herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, buffalo, elephants, and over 500 bird species. With luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhino, making the Ngorongoro Crater one of the best places in Tanzania for Big Five sightings.
