Arrive in Entebbe and meet your driver/guide. After check-in, take time to rest, freshen up, and adjust to Uganda time. If your arrival is early, you may take a short orientation walk to enjoy views around Entebbe. In the afternoon, you can relax at the lodge and prepare for the active days ahead. Your guide will brief you on the itinerary flow, driving times, and key reminders for safaris, primates, and mountain trekking. Day 2

Entebbe – Mabamba Swamp – Jinja

Entebbe – Mabamba Swamp – Jinja

Start early with a transfer to Mabamba Swamp for shoebill tracking. You’ll travel by canoe through calm papyrus waterways with a local boat guide who helps you locate birds. This is a classic Uganda birding experience, and you’ll also have chances to see other wetland species. After birding and lunch, continue to Jinja. En route, stop for photos at Mabira Forest if time allows, then visit Jinja Bridge for great river views. Check in near the Nile and relax in the evening as you enjoy the riverside atmosphere.

Enjoy a full day in Jinja dedicated to white-water rafting. You’ll meet your rafting guide, receive safety instructions, and be fitted with required gear such as a helmet, life jacket, and paddles. After breakfast, begin your scenic journey toward Murchison Falls National Park. The trek duration varies depending on gorilla movement, but once you reach them, you’ll spend a limited time with the gorillas for observation and photography. During the hike and waiting periods, you may also spot other monkeys and forest birds. Pack lunches are arranged so you stay focused on the trek. After the trek, return to your lodge to relax, warm up, and reflect on an unforgettable wildlife encounter.

This long road journey is usually about a full day, so your guide will plan resting stops to keep everyone comfortable.
