Day 1

Upon arrival, you will be met at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or picked up from your Nairobi hotel before departing for the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping at the spectacular viewpoint to enjoy panoramic views of Mount Longonot, Mount Suswa, and the dramatic escarpment.

Continue to the Masai Mara, arriving at your camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first exciting game drive across the reserve's vast plains, where you'll have the opportunity to spot the Big Five and a wide variety of wildlife.

Return to Mara Lenchada Tourist Camp (or a similar budget tented camp) for dinner and an overnight stay in a comfortable en-suite tent.

Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, set out with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive in the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa's finest wildlife destinations. Explore its vast savannah plains in search of the Big Five and an incredible variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, and numerous bird species.

Your safari will take you to the famous Mara River, home to large populations of hippos and giant Nile crocodiles. Depending on the season, you may also witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration as thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the river. Enjoy your picnic lunch at a scenic spot before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Return to Mara Lenchada Tourist Camp (or a similar budget tented camp) for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the camp, you will have the opportunity to enjoy an optional visit to a traditional Maasai Village (payable directly), where you can experience the Maasai culture, traditions, and way of life.

Later, check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with lunch served en route. Arrive in the afternoon and check in at Buraha Zenoni Resort (or a similar mid-range hotel). Spend the rest of the day relaxing before dinner and your overnight stay at the hotel.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will have the opportunity to spot black and white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, lions, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species.

Later, depart for Lake Naivasha, approximately a one-hour drive away. Upon arrival, proceed to Hell's Gate National Park for an exciting cycling safari (optional bicycle hire), where you can ride alongside zebras, giraffes, gazelles, and other wildlife while exploring the park's dramatic scenery.

After the excursion, return to the camp for lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the lakeshore, or choose an optional one-hour sunset boat ride on Lake Naivasha, offering excellent opportunities to see hippos and abundant birdlife.
