Game Drive & Boat Safari on the Victoria Nile

Wake early to the sounds of the savannah and enjoy breakfast at your lodge. Embark on a thrilling morning game drive across the northern plains of Murchison Falls National Park. Scan the golden grasslands for lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and antelopes—the park is home to all Big 5 species. The early morning light offers excellent photography opportunities. Return to the lodge for a hearty lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, board a boat for a scenic safari along the Victoria Nile. Glide past pods of hippos yawning in the shallows, crocodiles basking on muddy banks, and elephants drinking at the water's edge. Chimpanzee Tracking in Budongo & Evening Game Drive

Enjoy an early breakfast before transferring to Budongo Forest, one of Uganda's largest rainforests and home to a thriving population of chimpanzees. Arrive at Kaniyo Pabidi Ecotourism Site for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Enter the forest in search of habituated chimpanzee troops, listening for their pant-hooting calls echoing through the canopy. Upon locating them, spend one magical hour observing their playful antics—grooming, feeding, and swinging effortlessly through the trees. Return to the starting point for a packed lunch. In the afternoon, embark on an evening game drive in a different sector of the park. Search for wildlife missed on Day 2, including lions, leopards, and hyenas beginning their nightly prowl. Capture stunning sunset photos over the savannah. Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and overnight.
