Jinja city excursion

On this day we shall transfer from Kampala and travel east to adventure capital of Uganda jinja. Here we have a variety of activities(optional) such as rafting, quad biking, boat ride to the source of the Nile, cycling around the city. Jinja is a hot spot to many tourist and fun activities. We shall later transfer to sipi for the night.

Sipi falls

We shall transfer from jinja to sipi falls. Along the slopes of mt Elgon in eastern Uganda. on arrival we shall check in and later hike the 3 falls that make up the sipi falls. The hike usually takes approximately 3 hours with an option of abseiling from the largest falls to the bottom. We shall later have a coffee tour and end the day with a sunset sundowner.

Moroto

On this day we shall transfer from sipi to Moroto. This is one of the most scenic transfer on this trip. You shall get to transfer through the pian upe game reserve. Along the way we might see a variety of wildlife among some, water bucks, roan antelopes, giraffes, bird species just to mention a few. We shall later arrive in Moroto for lunch. We shall later go for a cultural experience in one of the local manyattas.

Kidepo valley national park

We shall transfer from Moroto and drive north through the Karamoja plains north to kidepo valley national park. This journey is approximately six hours and takes us through beautiful landscapes. We shall pass through game reserves like matheniko with possibilities of seeing ostriches along the way. On arrival we shall check into the lodge and later go for an afternoon game drive.

Game drives

On this day we shall have an early morning game drive in kidepo valley national park. The drive takes us through the kidepo plains where we shall get to see a variety of wildlife species such us buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, baboons, hyenas, cheetahs, and leopards just to mention a few. We shall later return back in the afternoon for another game drive in such for more beautiful wildlife encounters.

Transfer to murchison falls

We shall transfer from kidepo valley national park to Murchison falls national park. The drive takes approximately 6 hours. This drive takes us through the north savanna all the way to gulu city. Here we shall have a lunch break then proceed to hornbill safari lodge just at the boundary of the park.

Boat ride and gamedrives

We shall have an early morning game drive in Murchison falls national park. This drive brings us up-close with a variety of wildlife among which buffaloes, elephants, kobs, heartbeats, leopards and lions if lucky. We shall later have a boat ride on the Nile to the bottom of the falls. This ride bring us up-close with nature along the water banks.
