Day 1: Zanzibar – Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, you'll meet your professional safari guide and begin the drive to Tarangire National Park. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch before starting an afternoon game drive in one of Tanzania's most scenic wildlife parks. Tarangire is renowned for its ancient baobab trees, large elephant herds, and the Tarangire River, which attracts a wide variety of wildlife throughout the year. During your game drive, you may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, antelopes, and numerous bird species. After an unforgettable safari experience and breathtaking sunset views, you will continue to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

You descend into the crater for an unforgettable game drive through its unique ecosystem of grasslands, forests, and wetlands. The crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, offering excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, and leopards, along with hippos, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and numerous bird species. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool while surrounded by breathtaking views and wildlife. After an amazing safari experience, you ascend from the crater and begin your drive back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you check in at Villa Poa Arusha for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Villa Poa to Materuni Waterfalls

After breakfast at Villa Poa Arusha, you'll depart for Materuni Village on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. You'll enjoy a scenic walk through lush coffee plantations and a tropical rainforest, experiencing the beauty of the local landscape and Chagga culture. You will visit the impressive Materuni Waterfall, where you can relax, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. You'll continue with a coffee experience, learning the traditional process of preparing Tanzanian coffee from harvesting to roasting, followed by a local lunch. Later, you transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar, where your beach holiday adventure begins.
