1-Day Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Welcome to Tanzania!

Depart Arusha 6:30 am in the early morning and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. Today we will be rewarded with a visit to the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, which became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. Enroute we visit a Maasai Village, where we learn about the life and beliefs of Tanzania’s nomadic people.

The Ngorongoro Crater, is famous for Africa’s best game viewing as there is an ever present abundance of wildlife due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. Upon arrival at the Crater’s rim we descend 610 meters into the Crater where our safari begins.

At 4pm we will begin our journey back to Arusha where your safari ends upon arrival.
