Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

After an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, begin your journey through the scenic Great Rift Valley with several photo stops before continuing to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and relaxation before heading out on your first exciting afternoon game drive. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and many other wildlife species before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Between July and October, witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration crossing the Mara River. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon safari. Full Day Maasai Mara Safari

Another full day is dedicated to discovering more of the Maasai Mara's diverse landscapes and incredible wildlife. Your experienced guide will take you to areas rich in predators, plains game and birdlife while sharing fascinating information about the ecosystem. Optional activities such as an early morning hot air balloon safari or a cultural visit to a traditional Maasai village can be arranged at an additional cost. Return to your lodge for dinner.

Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart Maasai Mara and drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park through the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch before enjoying an afternoon game drive around the lake. Lake Nakuru is famous for white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, flamingos (seasonal), pelicans and many other bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
