Day 2
Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart at 08:00 hrs for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a thrilling game drive through the park’s beautiful landscapes, where you may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and numerous bird species. In the late afternoon, return to Karatu for relaxation and overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring the legendary Serengeti National Park, one of the world’s most famous wildlife destinations. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives across the vast savannah plains, searching for the Big Five and witnessing the incredible diversity of wildlife that makes the Serengeti famous. Depending on the season, you may also witness the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras.

Day 5
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will wind your way toward Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying more wonderful sights on the way! After an entire afternoon inside the crater, you will drive to your accommodation in Karatu.
Steep volcanic walls conceal Ngorongoro Crater, a pristine wilderness with sweeping savannah, acacia woodland pockets, glistening lakes, and swamps. The crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. The drive down into the crater is an adventure in itself, and when you reach the crater floor, you will quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. The crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands.

Day 6
Lake manyara National Park
Lake manyara National Park
This morning, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, your final destination on this epic safari! Lake Manyara National Park is a small but diverse park 120km west of Arusha. Everything you will see here is on a different scale. It is both compact (one of the narrowest parks in Africa) and epic (the Great Rift Escarpment towers over Lake Manyara’s western boundary). The park’s namesake is a shallow salt lake. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons, and is home to thousands of wading birds (including flamingos and over 500 other bird species). You may see baboons and elephants in the park’s thick evergreen forest and look out for the tree-climbing lions that have become famous throughout Africa.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park. After your game drive, we will drop you off at a place you choose, e.g., Arusha, Kilimanjaro International Airport, or Arusha Airport. We hope you have enjoyed your adventure with us.
