Head south towards Amboseli National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro across the border in Tanzania. Day 3

Amboseli to Tarangire National Park

Amboseli to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive to the Namanga border crossing into Tanzania. Once through immigration, continue overland to Tarangire National Park, known for its dense population of elephants and iconic baobab trees. Stop for lunch en route, either packed or at the hotel. In the afternoon, enter the park for a game drive along the Tarangire River, where wildlife congregates, including elephants, lions, and diverse birdlife. Arrive at your camp in time for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater

Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart Tarangire and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping en route to admire views of the Great Rift Valley. Continue to your camp near the crater rim, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to relax and take in the scenery, or join an optional guided nature walk around the camp (available at an extra cost). Return for dinner and overnight, ready for an early start into the crater the next morning.

Day 5-6

Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park

Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park

Start with an early breakfast before descending into Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive across the crater floor, home to dense wildlife including lion, rhino, and flamingo-lined lakes. Afterwards, climb back up the rim and continue overland to Serengeti National Park, stopping for a packed lunch en route.
Arrive in the afternoon and head straight into the park for a game drive before reaching camp for dinner and overnight. On Day 6, enjoy a full day in the Serengeti: breakfast at camp, followed by a morning game drive across the endless plains in search of lion, cheetah, and (seasonally) the wildebeest migration. Return for lunch, then head out for a second game drive before dinner and overnight at camp.

After an early breakfast on Day 7, depart Serengeti and cross the border back into Kenya at Isebania, continuing on to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Stop for lunch en route, either packed or at a local restaurant. Arrive in the afternoon and settle into camp before an evening game drive in search of the reserve's famous prides of lion and, seasonally, the great wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River. Return for dinner and overnight. On Day 8, enjoy a full day of game viewing: breakfast at camp, followed by a morning game drive across the open grasslands, lunch back at camp, and a second game drive in the afternoon before returning for dinner and overnight.
