The adventure begins! After breakfast, your private guide will pick you up from the airport or your accommodation and set off towards Ndutu in the southern Serengeti. Enjoy a scenic 5–6 hour drive through Tanzania’s changing landscapes, with a memorable lunch stop overlooking the spectacular Ngorongoro Highlands.
Arriving in Ndutu, you’ll head straight into the wilderness for your first game drive, exploring the plains where the Great Migration gathers during calving season. As the sun sets, continue to your accommodation for a delicious dinner and a relaxing evening surrounded by the peaceful Serengeti wilderness.

Enjoy your first full day exploring the beautiful green plains of Ndutu, where the Great Migration gathers during calving season. With the flexibility of your private safari, choose between a hot packed picnic lunch in the wilderness or return to your accommodation for a relaxed meal before heading out again. Spend the afternoon following the wildlife until sunset, then return to camp for a delicious dinner surrounded by the sounds of the Serengeti.

Another full day of unforgettable game viewing awaits in Ndutu! Continue exploring the lush green plains in search of newborn wildebeest, zebras, and other young animals, with the shores of Lake Ndutu offering a great place to spot wildlife gathering for a drink.
In the afternoon, you have two options: return to your accommodation in Ndutu for another relaxing night, or enjoy a scenic transfer game drive towards the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Staying on the rim allows you to wake up to spectacular crater views and enjoy an early descent the following morning. Please note: the crater-rim option comes at an additional cost.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater & Back to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater & Back to Arusha
It is time to leave the Serengeti plains behind as you make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast, you’ll begin the scenic transfer from Ndutu to the Ngorongoro Crater, taking around two hours. For an earlier start, a packed breakfast can be arranged. As you descend into the crater, take in the breathtaking views before beginning your game drive through this incredible wildlife haven. With one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, the crater offers an excellent chance to spot lions, elephants, buffalo, and, if you’re lucky, the rare black rhino, possibly completing your Big Five!
Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the crater’s spectacular scenery before ascending and continuing to Arusha, where your safari comes to an end.
