Arriving in Ndutu, you’ll head straight into the wilderness for your first game drive, exploring the plains where the Great Migration gathers during calving season. Spend the afternoon following the wildlife until sunset, then return to camp for a delicious dinner surrounded by the sounds of the Serengeti.

Another full day of Exploring Ndutu
Another full day of unforgettable game viewing awaits in Ndutu! Continue exploring the lush green plains in search of newborn wildebeest, zebras, and other young animals, with the shores of Lake Ndutu offering a great place to spot wildlife gathering for a drink.
In the afternoon, you have two options: return to your accommodation in Ndutu for another relaxing night, or enjoy a scenic transfer game drive towards the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Staying on the rim allows you to wake up to spectacular crater views and enjoy an early descent the following morning. Please note: the crater-rim option comes at an additional cost.

Day 4
Explore The Ngorongoro Crater
Explore The Ngorongoro Crater
It’s time to leave the Serengeti plains behind and head towards the Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast, or with a packed breakfast for an earlier start, enjoy a scenic two-hour transfer from Ndutu to the crater. As you descend, take in the spectacular views before exploring the crater floor on a game drive. With its incredible concentration of wildlife, you may be lucky enough to spot the rare black rhino and complete your Big Five!
Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the crater’s breathtaking scenery before continuing to Karatu, where you’ll spend your final night of the safari.

Tarangire National Park & Back to Arusha
After breakfast, gather your bags and enjoy one final drive through Tanzania’s beautiful landscapes as you head to Tarangire National Park, around 90 minutes away. Famous for its impressive baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers a wonderful final game drive filled with wildlife and stunning scenery. After exploring the park, continue to Arusha, marking the end of your safari adventure.
