Day 1

From your flight to Tarangire

From your flight to Tarangire

Your Tanzania story begins the moment you step off the plane at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where we welcome you and set off toward Tarangire National Park. Ancient baobabs rise like sentinels over the plains, and elephant families move unhurried between them, trunks entwined, calves shadowing their mothers. The afternoon unfolds slowly here, filled with the quiet drama of a park often overlooked yet deeply rewarding. As the light softens, you continue on to Karatu, cradled in the highlands above Ngorongoro, where a warm welcome and a comfortable bed await. You spend the night at a lodge, resting well ahead of tomorrow's descent into one of Africa's greatest natural wonders.

Karatu to Crater

Karatu to Crater

This morning, you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a vast natural amphitheater cradling one of the densest concentrations of wildlife on earth. Lions doze in golden grass, elephants graze along the crater floor, and with quiet luck, the elusive black rhino may reveal itself. Flamingos gather in soft pink drifts along the soda lake as the crater walls rise around you like the edge of another world. By afternoon, you leave the highlands behind and head into the open plains of Ndutu, part of the Southern Serengeti ecosystem, where February brings the great wildebeest migration to a standstill to give birth. An evening game drive greets you with your first glimpse of newborn calves finding their feet. You spend the night at Ndutu Heritage Camp, deep in the heart of the action.

Best Time To Visit June to October (Wildlife viewing is best)

Day 3

Full day in Ndutu

Full day in Ndutu

Today belongs entirely to Ndutu. From dawn, the plains come alive with the sound and movement of new life: wildebeest calves stumbling upright within minutes of birth, zebra foals close behind, and predators reading every opportunity the chaos provides. Cheetahs stalk low through the grass, hyenas patrol the fringes, and lions watch patiently from the shade of an acacia. This is nature's calving season in its rawest form, unfolding in every direction as far as you can see. With a full day to explore, your guide follows the movement of the herds, chasing the best light and the best sightings as they unfold. As the sun sets over the plains, you return to spend a second night at Camp.

Final game Drive

Your final morning begins with one last game drive across the Ndutu plains, a fitting farewell to a landscape that has, over these few days, felt more and more like a living, breathing story. After breakfast, you set off toward Arusha, and the wildlife doesn't end the moment you leave camp. The drive itself becomes a game drive in its own right, with fresh chances to spot grazing herds, birdlife, and perhaps one last cat resting in the shade along the way. We ensure you arrive at Arusha Airport comfortably ahead of your onward flight, already dreaming of the next chapter of your Tanzania journey.
