Transfer from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or preferred location in Entebbe by your Menlyn Tours & Travel guide. Begin the scenic journey southwest towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Travel through Uganda’s beautiful countryside, passing local communities, farms, towns, and rolling hills along the way. Enjoy a lunch stop en route before continuing towards southwestern Uganda. As you approach Bwindi, the landscape becomes increasingly green and mountainous. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon or evening, check in, and relax as you prepare for tomorrow’s gorilla trekking adventure. Enjoy dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for registration and a briefing before beginning your gorilla trekking adventure. With an experienced ranger guide, enter the dense Bwindi rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek can take several hours depending on the location of the gorillas and the terrain. Once you find them, enjoy an unforgettable encounter as you observe their behavior, interactions, and daily activities in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch before driving to Lake Bunyonyi. Arrive in the afternoon, check in, relax, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Dinner and overnight.

Lake Bunyonyi Boat Cruise & Transfer to Entebbe

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the beautiful waters of Lake Bunyonyi. Surrounded by rolling green hills and numerous small islands, the lake offers stunning scenery and a peaceful way to conclude your safari. During the cruise, learn about the lake, its islands, and the communities living around its shores. After the boat experience, return to the lodge and have lunch before beginning your journey back to Entebbe. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel through southwestern and central Uganda. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will be dropped off at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport, marking the end of your safari.
