Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at the Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the hotel, recover from your journey, or take some time to explore the surroundings of Arusha. Your safari guide will brief you about the upcoming adventure, including the safari schedule, destinations, and important preparations.

Arusha is the gateway to some of Tanzania's most famous safari destinations, making it the perfect starting point for your journey. Enjoy a relaxing evening and a comfortable overnight stay in Arusha as you prepare for an exciting safari experience beginning the following morning.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire

Arusha to Tarangire

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive towards Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Upon entering the park, begin your game drive through its beautiful landscapes of grasslands, seasonal swamps, and woodland. Keep your eyes open for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, and numerous bird species. With some luck, you may also spot predators such as lions and cheetahs.

Tarangire is particularly renowned for its elephants and offers excellent opportunities for close wildlife encounters. Enjoy a picnic lunch, before continuing your game drive.

Later on, you'll leave the park and proceed to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of northern Tanzania.

Tarangire to Ngorongoro

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive. The crater is one of Tanzania's most spectacular wildlife destinations and is home to a remarkable concentration of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and many other species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater while taking in the incredible scenery. After the game drive, ascend from the crater and continue to Mto wa Mbu, a lively multicultural town known for its local communities, farming, crafts, and vibrant atmosphere.
Enjoy a short cultural experience or explore the local area before continuing your journey back to Arusha. Arrive in Arusha later in the day and check in at your accommodation for a relaxing final evening before departure.
