Airport pickup and transfer to bwindi impenetrable national park

Journey from the shores of Lake Victoria to the misty mountains of Bwindi.
Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel. Leaving Entebbe behind, travel southwest through Uganda’s changing landscapes, countryside, rolling hills, local communities and scenic highlands, before reaching the mountainous region of southwestern Uganda.
Continue towards Nkuringo and arrive at Orugano Bwindi Lodge for check-in. Settle into your cottage and enjoy the peaceful surroundings after the long journey.
If arrival time permits, an optional guided birding or nature experience around the lodge and nearby community areas can be arranged.

Into the ancient forest in search of the mountain gorillas.
Wake early to the sounds of the forest and enjoy breakfast before proceeding to the Nkuringo gorilla tracking briefing point. After registration and briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority guides, the expedition begins.
Step into Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, one of Africa’s oldest and most biologically rich forests. The trek may take several hours depending on the location and movement of the gorilla family and the terrain encountered.
Then comes the moment you have travelled for: the gorilla family is located. After the trek, journey back and head to Bunyonyi, one of the deepest lakes in east Africa with numerous islands for relaxation.

After breakfast, check out and begin the return journey to Entebbe. Travel through the beautiful countryside of southwestern Uganda, with opportunities to appreciate the landscapes and communities along the route.
Depending on the departure flight schedule, stop for lunch along the way before continuing to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight.
