Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary Experience

After an early breakfast, transfer to the shores of Lake Victoria and board a motorized boat for a scenic cruise to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Located on a peaceful, forested island, the sanctuary provides a safe haven for orphaned and rescued chimpanzees that cannot survive in the wild.
Witness the exciting chimpanzee feeding session from an elevated viewing platform as playful individuals interact naturally within the forest environment. Learn about each chimpanzee's rescue story, behavior, social structure, and the sanctuary's ongoing conservation and education initiatives.

Mabamba Swamp Birding & Indigenous Food Experience

Following breakfast, depart for Mabamba Swamp, one of Uganda's most celebrated birds watching destinations and an internationally recognized Ramsar wetland. Board a traditional wooden canoe and quietly paddle through narrow papyrus channels accompanied by an experienced local birding guide.

After returning to the mainland, continue to Mengo, the historic heart of the Buganda Kingdom. Step into the rich culinary traditions of Buganda with a carefully prepared indigenous meal served in a traditional setting. Learn about the cultural significance of staple foods that have nourished generations of then Baganda people. This hand on experience begins with food harvesting from the garden while learning about the different species of bananas and their purpose.

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning exploring selected landmarks within Kampala before your departure. Depending on your schedule, optional visits may include local craft markets where artisans display handmade baskets, wood carvings, jewellery, fabrics, and paintings ideal for purchasing memorable souvenirs, visit old Kampala Mosque and Kasubi royal tombs.

Later, transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your
