Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Wildlife & Conservation Adventure

After breakfast in your hotel in Nairobi or upon arrival at JKIA, depart Nairobi and drive north through Kenya’s scenic countryside towards Ol Pejeta Conservancy, enjoying changing landscapes and views of Mount Kenya along the way. Arrive at Maisha Sweetwaters Camp in time for check-in and lunch, followed by some time to settle in and enjoy the camp’s tranquil surroundings.

Later in the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, renowned for its exceptional wildlife and conservation initiatives. Keep an eye out for the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards and rhinos, before returning to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Full-Day Ol Pejeta Wildlife & Conservation Experience

Begin your day with an early morning game drive across Ol Pejeta Conservancy, when wildlife is most active and the morning light creates exceptional photography opportunities. Return to Maisha Sweetwaters Camp for a hearty full breakfast, followed by a relaxing morning at leisure to enjoy the camp and its peaceful surroundings.

After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive, exploring more of the conservancy in search of the Big Five and other wildlife.

As an optional experience, visit the legendary Najin and Fatu (USD 70), the world’s last two northern white rhinos, and learn about the pioneering conservation efforts protecting their legacy. Weather and operational conditions permitting, you may also visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, home to rescued chimpanzees and an important centre for their rehabilitation and care.

Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight, reflecting on a remarkable day of wildlife and conservation.
