Day 1

Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Pick up from your hotel in Nairobi and depart early in the morning driving north towards Nanyuki and the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, enjoying scenic views of the Kenyan countryside and Mount Kenya along the way. Arrive at the conservancy around lunchtime and check in at your lodge or camp. After lunch and a short rest, head out for an afternoon game drive exploring Ol Pejeta, home to the Big Five and the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa. You may also visit the Northern White Rhino enclosure and learn about the conservancy's wildlife conservation efforts. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy to Samburu NP

Enjoy an early breakfast followed by a morning game drive in Ol Pejeta as you make your way out of the conservancy. Continue north towards Samburu National Reserve, passing through the dramatic landscapes of northern Kenya. Arrive in Samburu around lunchtime and check in at your camp or lodge. After lunch and some relaxation, embark on an afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Ng'iro River and surrounding plains. Look out for Samburu's unique wildlife species, including the Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Somali ostrich and Beisa oryx. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Samburu National Reserve to Nairobi

Start the day with an early morning game drive in Samburu when wildlife is most active. Explore the reserve along the Ewaso Ng'iro River and enjoy the spectacular scenery while searching for elephants, lions, leopards and Samburu's distinctive northern species. Return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out. Begin the drive back to Nairobi, with lunch en route. Continue to Nairobi and arrive in the late afternoon or evening, where you will be dropped off at your hotel marking the end of the safari.
