Your adventure begins in Zanzibar with a convenient flight to Seronera Airstrip in the heart of the central Serengeti. As you leave the coast behind, Tanzania’s landscapes transform from tropical shores to vast golden plains and rolling savannahs. Upon arrival, meet your private safari guide and begin your first game drive through the legendary Serengeti.

The Seronera area is renowned for its abundant resident wildlife and is an excellent introduction to the park, with opportunities to encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and large herds of gazelles. Your guide will carefully read the landscape and animal movements, maximizing your chances of unforgettable sightings.

Enjoy a picnic lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive as the Serengeti comes alive.

Day 2

After breakfast, depart for the spectacular Ndutu region, the heart of the annual wildebeest calving season. The journey itself is a wonderful safari experience as you cross the open plains, where wildlife can appear around every bend.

Ndutu is famous for attracting hundreds of thousands of wildebeest during the calving period, accompanied by zebras, gazelles and numerous predators. Arriving in the area, begin exploring the seasonal lakes, grasslands and plains in search of newborn calves and dramatic wildlife activity. The calving season offers some of Tanzania’s most extraordinary encounters, with young animals taking their first steps while lions, cheetahs, hyenas and other predators patrol nearby.

Enjoy a full-day game drive with a lovely picnic lunch in the wilderness, followed by more exploration in the afternoon. Return to your luxury camp for dinner and a peaceful evening beneath the African sky. Overnight in Ndutu.

Day 3

Wake early to experience Ndutu at its most magical. An early morning game drive offers excellent opportunities to witness wildlife becoming active in the soft golden light. During the calving season, the plains are filled with wildebeest mothers and their vulnerable newborn calves, creating an extraordinary spectacle of life and survival.

Spend the entire day exploring different parts of the Ndutu ecosystem, following the movement of herds and searching for the predators that gather in the area. In addition to wildebeest, you may encounter zebra, Thomson’s gazelles, elephants, giraffes, ostriches, jackals, hyenas and the big cats that make this region famous.

Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the wilderness before continuing your afternoon safari.

As the day comes to an end, watch the Serengeti landscape glow beneath the setting sun before returning to camp. Enjoy dinner and another memorable night in the heart of Tanzania’s wilderness. Overnight in Ndutu.

Day 4

After breakfast, leave the Ndutu plains behind and travel toward the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey offers more opportunities for wildlife viewing as you approach one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive inside this vast volcanic caldera. Often described as a natural wildlife sanctuary, the crater supports an impressive concentration of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and numerous bird species. With its dramatic crater walls and diverse habitats, the scenery provides a stunning backdrop for photography and wildlife viewing.

Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater before continuing your exploration. Later in the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive toward the charming small town of Mto wa mbu, located on the slopes of the Great Rift Valley. Check in at your accommodation, relax and enjoy dinner after several exciting days in the wilderness.

After breakfast, depart Mto wa mbu, and drive toward Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees, seasonal swamps and large concentrations of elephants.

Enjoy a game drive through this beautiful and diverse park, keeping an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes and a variety of bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing your final wildlife experience. Your guide will make the most of your remaining time in the park before beginning the journey toward Arusha Airport. The transfer is carefully planned to connect with your onward flight to Zanzibar, allowing you to finish your safari without unnecessary delays or backtracking.
