Arusha to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and begin your scenic journey to Serengeti National Park, passing through the beautiful landscapes of the Great Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy views of the countryside, local villages, and changing scenery along the way.

Upon entering Serengeti, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the endless plains, with opportunities to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes, and cheetahs. Continue exploring the park and enjoying its spectacular scenery before heading to the campsite in the late afternoon.

Arrive at the campsite, relax and enjoy the peaceful wilderness atmosphere, followed by an overnight stay under the African sky.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park as you begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro Highlands. Continue with a game drive en route, giving you the opportunity to spot wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, cheetahs, and leopards while traveling through the scenic Serengeti plains.

Depending on the season, you may also encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebras during the Great Migration. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way before continuing through the beautiful landscapes towards the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Arrive at Simba Campsite in the late afternoon, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the African wilderness.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast at Simba Campsite, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania’s most spectacular natural wonders. Descend into the crater for a morning game drive, exploring its beautiful landscapes and searching for the diverse wildlife within this unique ecosystem.

The crater is home to lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and possibly the endangered black rhino. Your safari guide will take you to the best areas for wildlife viewing while sharing interesting insights about the crater.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater surrounded by breathtaking scenery. After lunch, continue with a final game drive before ascending and beginning your journey back to Arusha.

Arrive in Arusha in the early evening, marking the end of your unforgettable 3-day Tanzania camping safari.
