Day 1

Zanzibar to Tarangire

Zanzibar to Tarangire

Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha in the morning, where your safari guide will meet you and begin your adventure.

Continue to Tarangire National Park for a full day of wildlife viewing, exploring its iconic baobab-studded landscapes and searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife.

Enjoy a bush picnic lunch in the park before continuing with an afternoon game drive.

In the late afternoon, leave Tarangire and journey towards the Ngorongoro Highlands, arriving at your accommodation for a relaxing evening and overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, set off towards the Ndutu area, travelling through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and into the southern Serengeti ecosystem.

Arrive in Ndutu and begin your first full day of Migration-focused game viewing, following the movement of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle across the plains.

Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way before continuing your game drive into the afternoon, with excellent opportunities to witness predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas taking advantage of the abundance of prey.

Spend the entire day immersed in the Ndutu Migration, where vast herds gather across the short-grass plains during the calving season. Set out early for a morning game drive when wildlife activity is at its peak, following the herds and watching for newborn calves and the predators that closely follow them.

Enjoy a bush picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive, exploring different areas of Ndutu and the surrounding southern Serengeti. Return to camp in the evening after a full day of unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the dramatic crater scenery before ascending in the afternoon and beginning your journey towards Arusha. Arrive in Arusha later in the day for your onward journey, bringing your Ndutu Migration adventure to an unforgettable close.
