Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire

After a hearty breakfast, depart Arusha and travel to Tarangire National Park for your first exciting game drive. Tarangire is famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and beautiful landscapes.

During your safari, keep an eye out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and numerous species of birds. Your experienced guide will search for the best wildlife encounters while sharing fascinating information about the park and its ecosystem.

After an exciting day in the wilderness, continue toward your accommodation and enjoy dinner before relaxing overnight in preparation for your journey toward the Serengeti.

Tarangire to Southern Serengeti

After breakfast, begin your journey toward the Southern Serengeti, entering the heart of the Great Wildebeest Migration's calving grounds. The landscape gradually changes as you approach the vast plains where thousands of wildebeest and zebra gather.

During the calving season, the plains become a spectacular nursery, with newborn calves taking their first steps while predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas remain close by. Enjoy game viewing along the route and spend the afternoon exploring the migration area.

Arrive at your selected accommodation for dinner and an unforgettable overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Today is dedicated to experiencing the remarkable calving season in Southern Serengeti. After breakfast, head out on a full-day game drive through the migration areas, following the movements of the massive herds.

Witness wildebeest mothers giving birth and young calves moving alongside their mothers across the open plains. The abundance of young animals also attracts predators, creating opportunities for thrilling wildlife encounters.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your exploration. Your guide will select the best locations based on current wildlife activity.

Later on, you'll return to your camp in the evening for dinner, relaxation and another peaceful night beneath the African sky.

After breakfast, you'll leave the Southern Serengeti and travel toward the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy scenic views and wildlife encounters along the route before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive.

The crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and many other species. After exploring this incredible natural wonder, ascend from the crater and begin your onward journey for departure.
