Day 2

Nairobi to Maasai mara

Nairobi to Maasai mara

Your safari starts in the morning after serving breakfast in the hotel. You will then transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve, with two stopovers at the Great Rift Valley and Narok viewpoints, before arriving in the Masai Mara in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive until later in the day. This will give you a chance to spot several animal species that are active in the afternoon. This will be a very important introductory wildlife game drive as you capture the sunset on the horizon.

Enjoy an early morning breakfast and then head to the park for a full-day game viewing experience with a packed lunch box in hand. This is the best time to encounter the beautiful sunrise and interact with several species of wildlife within the game reserve. You will take a break for a picnic lunch in the reserve and then continue searching for wild animals, spotting several species and interacting with the beautiful nature.

Day 4

Maasai mara to Nakuru national park

Today you may pay an optional visit to a nearby Masai village in order to participate in local cultural activities such as songs, dances, jumping, storytelling, and other traditional practices. Later, you will depart and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with an enroute hot lunch. You will go on a game drive in Nakuru, which is famous for both black and white rhinos and flamingos. Later, you will be dropped off at your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, you can go on an optional boat ride to Crescent Island, where you can walk alongside less harmful animals like giraffes, waterbucks, antelopes, buffaloes, and zebras, among others. You will then check out and drive to Amboseli National Park with an enroute hot lunch along the way. You will have a scenic view of the land terrain along the Kenya-Mombasa Highway, including the SGR Railway. Upon arrival at Amboseli in the late afternoon, you will be dropped off at your camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Begin with the spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the open plains of Amboseli, famous for its large elephant herds.
