Day 2

Early in the morning, the driver will pick you up from your hotel and brief you before heading out to Budongo forest. Along the way, you will make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola where rhinos are being reintroduced to the wild in Uganda. This will help you have a complete feel of the African Big Five mammals, as it is the rhinos, out of the Big Five that are missing in Murchison Falls National Park. After you will drive to Budongoforest and check into your lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Wake up at 6:00 am prepared to take a photograph of the African rising sun in the morning and enjoy an African breakfast and check out of the lodge to transfer for chimpanzee trekking expeditions in Budongo forest reserve were you will have chance to to meet human's closest relatives in close ranges and more other primates and bird birds

In the afternoon you will transfer to Murchison falls national park and hike to the top of the falls and later check into your lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Morning Game Drive- Boat Cruise and Hike to the Top of the Falls

After an early morning warm-up tea/coffee, you will transfer for a game drive to the northern bank in searches of animals like lions, giraffes, oribis, elephants, Jackson’s hartebeests, Uganda kobs, buffaloes among other animals and bird species. You will then return to the lodge in time for lunch and relax preparing for yet an exciting activity in the afternoon. After lunch, transfer for a three hours boat ride on the Nile River to the bottom of falls where you will have the opportunity to view animals. Crocodiles and hippos are in the water while buffaloes, waterbucks, and elephants are often seen on the river bank grazing and drinking water. You will then have to hike to the top of the falls for a clear view of the falls. Return to your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner, and overnight stay.

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park- The Primates' Capital

After a healthy breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale Forest National Park, the capital world of primates such as chimpanzees, baboons, and monkeys, with en-route lunch meals. Upon arrival, you will check-in at your lodge for relaxation. Later in the day, you shall transfer to the Bigodi Wetlands, situated on the eastern edge of the forest. You shall have a light walk in the wetlands to observe plenty of wildlife including birds and many monkey species. You will retire for the day at lodge.

After breakfast, you will check out and go for a community visit, during this visit you get to interact with families and how they go about their daily life, you cook, make coffee and banana beer among others. Later you will drive to queen Elizabeth national park for a wildlife experience in the plain of Kasenyi. The drive will take us through views of several crater lakes and the mystical Rwenzori Mountain ranges en-route. On arrival in the park, we shall have a small game drive as we proceed to the lodge. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the lodge.

Have an early morning breakfast then go for a morning game drive within the park. Anticipate seeing the famous Big Five including buffalos, elephants, lions, and other mammals such as giant forest hogs, bushbucks, kobs, hyenas, and waterbucks. In the afternoon hours, you will partake in a launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. You will appreciate the high scores of elephants, hippos, buffalos, and crocodiles. A number of bird species will also be seen including the rare shoebill. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the lodge.

After early morning breakfast Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. As the forest gives way to rolling acacia hills, the landscape feels like an African dream.
Upon arrival, the park offers the Red-faced Barbet (seasonal & sometimes rare), Tabora Cisticola, Green-capped Eremomela, Golden-tailed Woodpecker, Spot-flanked Barbet, African Fin foot (on the lake), White-backed Night Heron, Brown-chested Lapwing, Bared-faced Go-away-bird, Emerald-spotted Wood-dove etc... The evening light bathes the Plains Zebra and Impala in gold, creating a serene atmosphere for your game drive.

Awake to the sweet, melodic whistles of the acacia specialists—the perfect soundtrack for your final morning. Focus on the Crested and Coqui Francolin, Common Scimitarbill, Nubian Woodpecker, Trilling Cisticola, Yellow-breasted Apalis, Greater Blue-eared Starling, African Wattled Lapwing, Red-headed Lovebird, Verreaux's Eagle-owl, Red-necked Spurfowl to mention but a few.
Keep an eye out for Rothschild's Giraffes silhouetted against the sky. Following lunch, and later an evening boat cruise.

After having an early breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Entebbe International Airport to readily catch your travel back home in the evening as you say farewell to the pearl of Africa!
