Nairobi – Masai Mara

Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley towards the Masai Mara National Reserve. After lunch at your lodge or camp, head out for your first game drive across the Mara's vast grasslands.

Look out for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes and, with luck, lions, cheetahs and leopards. Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara Game Drive

Spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve is one of Africa's premier wildlife destinations, offering excellent opportunities to see the Big Five and large concentrations of plains game.

Depending on the season, you may also witness the spectacular Great Migration, when vast herds of wildebeest and zebras move through the Mara ecosystem.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve before continuing your wildlife exploration. Return to camp in the late afternoon.

Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, travelling through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley.

Arrive at Lake Naivasha at noon and enjoy some time to relax. In the afternoon you can choose to take an optional boat ride on the lake, where you may see hippos and numerous water birds, including fish eagles or explore the crescent island.

Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru

After breakfast continue to Lake Nakuru National Park.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park, searching for rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes and other wildlife. Lake Nakuru is also an excellent destination for birdwatching, with numerous water birds and other species found around the lake and in the surrounding woodland.
