Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s most famous safari destinations.

Depending on your arrival time, you can spend the rest of the day relaxing at your hotel, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, or taking a gentle introduction to Arusha. If your flight arrives early and you feel energetic, you may choose to explore some of the city’s attractions, visit a local market, or simply enjoy a relaxed evening before your safari adventure begins.

Your guide will also brief you about the safari, including the route, expected wildlife sightings, safety information, and what to expect during the coming days.

Arusha is surrounded by beautiful landscapes and is an ideal starting point for your Tanzania adventure. Enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay as you prepare for your first exciting safari day.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National park

Arusha to Tarangire National park

After breakfast, your safari officially begins. You will depart Arusha and drive toward Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic and wildlife-rich parks.

Tarangire is particularly famous for its large elephant populations, ancient baobab trees, seasonal wetlands, and spectacular savannah scenery. During the dry season, wildlife gathers around the Tarangire River and other remaining water sources, creating excellent opportunities for game viewing.

Once inside the park, you will begin your first game drive. Keep your eyes open for elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, and numerous species of birds. With some luck, you may also encounter predators such as lions, leopards, or cheetahs.

Enjoy a picnic lunch, followed by more game viewing in the afternoon.

Later, you will leave the park and proceed to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3

Wake up early, enjoy breakfast, and continue your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural wonders.

Today’s highlight is a game drive inside the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Often described as a natural wildlife sanctuary, the crater is a vast volcanic caldera surrounded by steep walls and filled with grasslands, forests, wetlands, and a permanent water supply.

After descending into the crater, you will begin exploring its diverse habitats. The crater floor supports an impressive variety of wildlife, giving you excellent opportunities to see lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, gazelles, warthogs, and many bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated area before continuing your game drive. And later on continue to your accommodation for your relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, your final wildlife destination before heading to the tropical beaches of Zanzibar. Lake Manyara is a beautiful and compact park famous for its varied landscapes. The park includes groundwater forests, open grasslands, wetlands, and the alkaline Lake Manyara itself. This diversity creates habitats for a wide variety of animals and birds.

During your game drive, look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, baboons, monkeys, antelopes, and numerous bird species. Depending on conditions and wildlife movements, you may also have the opportunity to spot lions resting in trees or other predators.

The park offers a different safari experience from Tarangire and Ngorongoro, making it a rewarding final stop on your northern Tanzania wildlife adventure.

After the game drive, enjoy lunch before beginning the transfer back toward Arusha and Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Stone Town, Zanzibar’s historic and culturally fascinating old city.

Stone Town is a wonderful place to experience the island beyond its beaches. Wander through narrow winding streets, discover historic buildings, visit lively markets, and experience the mixture of African, Arab, Indian, and European influences that have shaped Zanzibar over centuries.

Your guided walking tour may include visits to important historical sites and landmarks, colorful markets, traditional Zanzibar doors, old buildings, and waterfront areas.

Take time to enjoy the atmosphere of the city rather than simply rushing from one attraction to another. Stone Town is best experienced on foot, allowing you to appreciate its architecture, people, aromas, shops, and everyday island life.

You may spend the morning enjoying the beach, swimming in the warm Indian Ocean, relaxing under the palm trees, or taking a leisurely walk along the coastline. There's so many activities include snorkeling, a boat excursion, kayaking, paddleboarding, diving, or other water-based experiences.

You can also choose to spend part of the day discovering local coastal life. Visit nearby communities, interact with local people, explore small shops, or simply enjoy the relaxed pace of island living. Today is your final full day in Zanzibar, so it is all about enjoying the island at your own pace. After breakfast, choose how you would like to spend your day. You can make it an adventure-filled day or simply enjoy a slow tropical beach escape.

For those looking for more adventure, optional activities may include snorkeling excursions, a traditional dhow boat trip, diving, kayaking, paddleboarding, or a visit to nearby coastal attractions.

You may also choose to explore Zanzibar’s natural and cultural side through an optional spice-related experience, local village visit, or another island excursion.

If relaxation is your priority, there is no need to fill the day with activities. Spend the morning swimming in the ocean, relaxing beside the pool, sunbathing on the beach, or enjoying a spa treatment.
