Pick up from Kampala and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You'll have an early breakfast at the hotel where you stayed in Kampala. You'll have a pick-up by a driver-guide, who will brief you about our 3-day gorilla tour. You'll set off from Kampala in a comfortable vehicle with drinking water to soothe you as you enjoy your journey. The journey will take about 9 hours of road transfer. You have a stopover at the Uganda Equator to relax, take pictures, and do a water experiment.

You will have your lunch in Mbarara town en route to your journey. You arrive late evening at your lodge, where you will check in, have dinner, and have an overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a Batwa Cultural Experience

You rise early for breakfast as you prepare for the gorilla experience. But first, you will drive to the park’s headquarters for a short briefing. You will be grouped into 8 trekkers. You will be assigned a gorilla family you will trek.
Enter into the thick forest of Bwindi searching for the gentle giants. This experience will take about 1-6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. You'll spend a full hour in direct contact with the gorillas as you get to see them and learn about them.
Afterward, you will return to the lodge for lunch. Later in the evening, you will explore the Batwa community; the pygmy group is recorded as one of the first inhabitants in the Bwindi forest, till they were relocated outside the park. You will enjoy traditional performances as the group engages, and enjoy an evening with this group.
