3-Day Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Tour in Uganda

Pick up from Kampala and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

Have early breakfast from your hotel you slept in while in Kampala. Have a pick up by a driver guide, who will brief you about our 3 days gorilla tour. Set off from Kampala in a comfortable vehicle with a drinking water to sooth you out as you enjoy your journey. The journey will take about 9 hours of the road transfer. Have a stop over at the Uganda Equator have relaxation, pictures and a water experiment.

You will have your lunch in Mbarara town en-route to your journey. Arrive late evening at your lodge, where you will check in, have dinner and an overnight stay.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park, a Batwa cultural experience

Rise up early for breakfast as you prepare for the gorilla experience. But first, you will drive to the park’s headquarters for a short briefing. You will be grouped into 8 trekkers and you will be signed a gorilla family you will trek.
Enter into the thick forest of Bwindi searching for the gentle giants. This experience will take about 1-6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. Spend a full one hour in direct contact with the gorillas as you get to see them and learn about them.
After you will return to the lodge for lunch. Later in the evening explore the Batwa community, the pygmy group is recorded as one of the first habitants in the Bwindi forest, till they were relocated outside the park. Enjoy traditional performances for the group engage and enjoy an evening with this group.
