Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins with an early morning transfer from your Zanzibar hotel to the airport for your flight to Northern Tanzania.

Upon arrival, meet your professional safari guide and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and spectacular scenery, Tarangire offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park followed by an afternoon game drive. Keep your eyes open for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas and many species of birds.

In the late afternoon, leave the park and drive to your lodge in the Karatu area for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before heading toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. The crater is one of Tanzania's most remarkable wildlife destinations and provides excellent opportunities to see large concentrations of animals.

Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and, with luck, the endangered black rhinoceros.

After a picnic lunch, ascend from the crater and continue toward Lake Manyara. Depending on park conditions and timing, enjoy an afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, known for its beautiful scenery, diverse birdlife, elephants and tree climbing lions.

After the game drive, return to your accommodation in the Karatu area for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy an early breakfast before your final safari experience.

Continue exploring Lake Manyara National Park with a morning game drive. The park offers a remarkable combination of forests, open plains, wetlands and the scenic shores of Lake Manyara.

Look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, baboons, hippos and numerous bird species. The morning light also provides excellent opportunities for photography.

After the game drive, leave the park and drive to the airport for your return flight to Zanzibar.
