Nairobi to Masai Mara

After pickup at the airport or your hotel, you will be transferred to our office to meet the rest of the group. Later, drive southwards along the floor of the Great Rift Valley with a stopover at the viewpoint, arriving in time for lunch. Later, proceed for a game drive. The famous Mara is well known for its rich, tree-studded grassland, rolling hills, and great herds of plains game, black-maned lion, leopard, and cheetah. It is also home to numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. Dinner and overnight are at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

Masai Mara

Spend a full day exploring the reserve. Have a full-day game drive with a lunch break, or a full-day drive with a packed picnic lunch at the Mara River. You have a good chance of spotting the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. If visiting between July and October, keep an eye out for the great migration crossings. Optional activities include an early-morning hot-air balloon ride or a cultural visit to a local Maasai village. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the camp.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

An early-morning game drive in the Mara is followed by breakfast and departure toward Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at Lake Nakuru in the afternoon, check into your lodge, and enjoy lunch. Embark on an afternoon game drive around the lake circuit. Visit Baboon Cliff and Makalia Falls. Look out for black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and flamingoes along the lakeshore. Dinner and your overnight stay are at your accommodation near or inside the park.
