At 07:00, meet our hospitality representative and your dedicated safari driver-guide in your Nairobi hotel lobby or at the airport. After introductions and a pre-safari briefing, depart and drive down the eastern wall of the Great Rift Valley. Your driver-guide will stop at a strategic viewpoint for photography, where you can step out to view the escarpment and take photos.
Drive on to Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive at your lodge in the early afternoon for check-in and lunch, followed by free time to relax and enjoy a swim.
Enjoy an afternoon game-viewing drive in the park. Known all over the world for its flamingos, it's alkaline and is recognized as being one of the natural wonders of the world. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction.

Day 2
Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, depart and drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve to arrive at your lodge in the early afternoon for check-in.
Lunch at the lodge is followed by free time at leisure, where you can enjoy a swim in the lodge’s swimming pool overlooking the vast savannahs!
At 16:00, enjoy a game-viewing drive in the reserve. The Mara is noted for its abundance of lions - particularly the superb black-maned males. You'll see lots of elephants here, often in large herds, as well as, if you're lucky, leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents here, and you can be sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, charge the batteries and enjoy yourself!

Day 3

Spend a full day in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve at 06:30 and 16:00 respectively. The most frequented game reserve in Kenya, the Maasai Mara is a magnificent landscape of open plains bisected by the Mara River and its tributaries and punctuated by marshes and forests.
This 650-square-kilometer reserve supports the highest density of game to be seen anywhere, considering its size. During the seasonal migrations, the Masai Mara is home to up to a million wildebeest and an equally impressive number of zebras that move into the area from neighboring Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.
Hot-air balloon safari (at an extra cost): Flying high up in the skies above the Masai Mara is the ultimate safari experience. The landscape below is a never-ending, exciting mixture of riverine forests, sprawling savannahs, towering escarpments and rugged rivers. There’s really nothing quite like it; the view is unparalleled, and the experience is unforgettable!

Day 4

After an early breakfast at the lodge, check out and drive to Nairobi to arrive in time for a farewell lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant, hosted by the Afio Mai Africa Safaris directors, to celebrate your safari adventure!
The Carnivore is a meat speciality restaurant. At the restaurant, whole joints of meat, lamb, pork legs, exotic meats, sausages, chicken livers and wings and even crocodile are skewered on traditional Maasai swords and roasted over a huge charcoal pit!
Later, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward travel home.
