Day 1

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to Arusha. After checking in at your accommodation and depending on your arrival time, we will provide a complimentary Arusha town tour, giving you an opportunity to explore the city, visit local areas and get your first introduction to everyday life in Tanzania.

After the tour, return to your accommodation for an overnight stay. Meals and drinks on this day will be at your own expense.

Day 2

Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park

After breakfast at your own expense, depart for Arusha National Park for a guided game drive. Explore the park’s varied landscapes, including forests, open grasslands and the Momella Lakes, with Mount Meru providing a dramatic backdrop. Look for giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, monkeys, antelopes and abundant birdlife.

A picnic lunch will be provided during your game drive. Continue exploring the park in the afternoon before returning to Arusha for an overnight stay. Dinner and any additional meals or drinks will be at your own expense.

Day 3

Arusha to Tarangire NP

Arusha to Tarangire NP

After breakfast, leave Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Spend the day exploring landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees and following the Tarangire River, an important water source for wildlife. The park is particularly known for its large elephant herds, alongside lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing your game drive. Later in the afternoon, leave Tarangire and drive to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti NP

After breakfast, depart Mto wa Mbu and begin your journey toward Serengeti National Park, travelling through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you approach the Serengeti, the highland scenery gradually opens into the park’s famous plains. Begin your game drive upon entering the Serengeti, searching for lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife. Later, continue to your mid-range accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing your game viewing into the early afternoon. Later, leave the Serengeti and begin your journey toward Karatu, travelling through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Arrive at your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site inside the crater before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, ascend from the crater and return to Karatu for dinner and another overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart Arusha and travel toward the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro for a visit to Materuni village. Meet your local guide and walk through the green countryside, passing coffee and banana farms on the way to Materuni Waterfalls. Spend time enjoying the waterfall before returning to the village for a traditional Chagga coffee experience, where you can learn how locally grown coffee is processed and prepared. Enjoy lunch before driving back to Arusha for your final overnight stay. Dinner will be at your own expense.
