Your journey begins in the emerald-green Teza tea farms through the rolling hills of one of the world's most scenic tea plantation and breathe in the crisp mountain air. Activities include guided plantation walk, tea picking experience(optional), landscape photography. Next enter the Kibira National park, a majestic primary sacred rainforest, walk through the forest to spot endangered primates and rare bird species in their natural habitat.
Activities: guided forest hike, primate tracking, birdwatching, nature interpretation. The Busekera Batwa community is one of the most authentic cultural encounters in Burundi. Located near the Kibira national park, this community has transitioned from a traditional hunter-gatherer lifestyle in the forest to a life centered around world-class craftmanship and pottery.
