Western Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you will depart Speke Bay and begin your journey toward Serengeti National Park, one of Africa's most famous wildlife destinations.
The drive takes you through rural Tanzanian landscapes before reaching the Serengeti ecosystem. As you approach the park, the scenery gradually changes into vast open plains, acacia woodland, rocky kopjes, and grasslands stretching as far as the eye can see.
Upon entering the Serengeti, your safari officially begins with a game drive. Keep your eyes open for large herds of wildebeest and zebras, giraffes browsing on acacia trees, elephants moving across the plains, and predators such as lions and cheetahs.
The western Serengeti is also an important area during the annual Great Wildebeest Migration, depending on the season. The region provides excellent opportunities to experience the wilderness away from the busier central areas.
You will continue with game viewing before arriving at your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.

Wake up early for breakfast before continuing your safari toward Central Serengeti, also known as the Seronera area.
The journey from western to central Serengeti is itself an exciting game drive. Rather than simply travelling from one accommodation to another, you will have opportunities to stop whenever interesting wildlife is spotted.
The Serengeti is home to an incredible variety of animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, hyenas, jackals, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, and numerous bird species.
As you approach Seronera, the landscape becomes a mixture of open grasslands, river valleys, and scattered rocky outcrops known as kopjes. These rocky formations are particularly famous for providing resting places for lions and other predators.
After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive through the Central Serengeti before heading to your lodge or camp.
